Located in McKinney, Texas, Tucker Hill is a new home, traditional neighborhood development modeled after developer Southern Land Company’s award-winning Westhaven community located in Franklin, Tennessee. Tucker Hill boasts the same historically reminiscent architecture, nostalgic front porches, emphasis on lifestyle and resident events, and exceptional horticulture that have become the standard of an SLC community.

Residents recently celebrated the opening of their Residents’ Club which features almost 4,000 square feet of both furnished indoor and covered outdoor patio space. Built adjacent to their current resort-style pool, residents now have a café kitchen space and a gathering area for parties.

Perhaps the biggest news for future residents is the release of 118 lots in Phase 4. This is the largest single release of new lots in Tucker Hill and builders will continue to include Tucker Hill favorites Darling Homes and David Weekley Homes.

Phase 4 lots range in size from 41’ to 69’ in width. Square footage ranges from 1,800 to over 4,000 square feet. Prices start in the high $300s. This phase includes a generous amount of new open space, including an inviting central landscaped square and a linear greenbelt, fulfilling SLC’s commitment that residents will have no more than a 5-minute walk to access green space. Part of this new phase will finish out the northeast portion of Tucker Hill’s borders. SLC will also develop a portion of the future paved hike/bike trail in conjunction with the City of McKinney’s master plan.

“Harvard Park at Tucker Hill” is now open! This project is an almost 40,000 square foot, three-story commercial development situated on Highway 380 between the two main entrances of the community. The architectural plans for this building look and feel much like something you would find in an historic town square. As the primary anchor, Keller Williams McKinney now occupies the second floor space along with a Farmers Insurance office, Pratt-Aycock/Texas Title and Landmark Bank. Petra Fresh Mexican Bistro is open on the east side of the building’s first floor.  They serve lunch and dinner, Mondays-Saturdays, and have a charming outdoor patio dining area. Palio’s Pizza is found on the west side space of the building’s first floor and they also are open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.

Tucker Hill is located on beautiful rolling land set back on the north side of U.S. 380 (West University Drive) between Custer and Ridge Roads. Only 5 minutes from either Highway 75 or the Dallas North Tollway, area attractions are easily accessible.
