There’s no such thing as an ordinary Saturday at Gleneagles Country Club. The day starts with omelets made to order, a tradition before hitting the course. Moms escort little ones to The Nest for fun activities, so they can enjoy a relaxing day at the club. Tennis courts are bustling with lessons and matches. After a day of fun, couples gather for date night drinks in the Cellar, where Tony is ready with a warm welcome. Luckily, it’s steak night in the dining room, so everyone will go home satisfied after a hearty bite and signature glass of wine. At Gleneagles, the staff knows how to make each day extraordinary. In an inviting atmosphere, members enjoy an amazing lifestyle, make friends, meet their neighbors and create connections that last a lifetime.

Founded in 1985 on farmland in the Plano suburb of North Dallas, Gleneagles, a member of the ClubCorp family, has provided outstanding amenities and service in a prestigious private club setting. With the club’s recent celebration of its 30th anniversary in 2015, the Gleneagles tagline “built on tradition” is especially fitting for a legacy club that’s proud to have numerous second-generation members. “Our family has enjoyed many years at Gleneagles,” said Harry LaRosiliere, who is the Plano Mayor and has been a Gleneagles member for more than 10 years along with his wife, Tracy. “We enjoy the two top-notch golf courses, tennis program and exceptional dining experience. Gleneagles provides a casual, welcoming family-friendly environment, and we look forward to welcoming new families with all the new businesses coming to town.”

Golfing at Gleneagles Country Club

The club recently completed a more than $4 million renovation, including an updated driving range, new wine room dubbed “The Cellar,” new 5401 Grille with golf course views, an energized workout facility, expansive new patio and supervised fun for kids at The Nest. As a complement to the improvements, the club offers fun activities and programming, such as year-round golf development programs, first-class tennis instruction, “dive-in” movies, Friday Night Out (date night plus fun for the kids) and Sunday Family Fun Day. Juniors programs include summer camps, swim lessons and Gators Swim Team.

Gleneagles continues its tradition of incredible golf on two courses as one of the “Top 100 Golf Courses in Texas” according to the Dallas Morning News. Golf improvements on both courses and new greens on the King’s course are nearly complete. The club is proud to be the only site in the United States to host the IFQ (British Open Qualifier) for five consecutive years.

In addition to great golf, Gleneagles boasts one of the largest tennis programs in the Metroplex, an on-site fitness center with new equipment and personal TVs, and a pool complex with a big slide and playground, beautiful adult pool with cabanas and poolside service. When it comes to dining and private events, the club is second to none, with a sense of refinement and casual elegance found nowhere else.
