Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery is a physician-owned hospital serving the people of Collin, Dallas and Denton counties. The hospital is an award-winning facility that offers a wide range of services including robotic surgery, artificial disc replacement, joint replacement surgery, endoscopy and breast MRI.
Designed with a boutique hotel in mind, patients enjoy a more comfortable setting than what is typically offered in a large, full-service traditional hospital. From up-close parking to room service meals prepared by a culinary trained chef, the entire hospital staff provides compassionate care that is focused on you and your family.
The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, an independent, not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies health care firms and is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards.
Services
Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery presently has more than 500 physicians on the medical staff representing specialties such as spine surgery, gynecological surgery, pain management, urological surgery, and endoscopy services.
Center for Disc Replacement
Artificial disc replacement, or ADR (also referred to as total disc replacement), is a type of arthroplasty used to treat chronic, severe back and neck pain. It is a surgical procedure in which degenerated intervertebral discs in the spinal column are replaced with artificial devices in the lumbar (lower back) or cervical (neck) spine. This procedure helps to stabilize the spine while maintaining a natural movement of range and motion. The physicians on the medical staff who are associated with the Center for Disc Replacement have performed thousands of artificial disc replacements and were the first in the United States to perform the procedure.
Joint Replacement
Physicians on the medical staff strive to help joint replacement patients recover from their joint pain, using minimally invasive treatments or procedures, when possible. The areas of focus of the physicians on staff include arthritis, hip replacement, knee replacement, ankle replacement and shoulder replacement.
Pediatric Sleep Diagnostics
Optimal amounts of sleep is vital to a child’s health, happiness, social life and success in school. Constant and regular disruption in your child’s sleep pattern may disrupt the quality of a child’s life. The Pediatric Sleep Institute, a department of Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery, provides the necessary information for physicians to detect and diagnose a child’s sleep disorder. A sleep evaluation can help physicians decide on a successful treatment plan that will benefit both parent and child.

Every child has dreams, dreams of a future filled with success. For learning-different students, those dreams can seem frustratingly far away. Fairhill School is dedicated to bringing those dreams to life. When parents and teachers believe in a child and his/her natural talents, that child begins to believe too. At Fairhill, we show students how to maximize their strengths and minimize their weaknesses, inspiring them to realize their full potential, as students and as individuals. Through a multi-faceted approach, students acquire learning skills that work for them—skills that help them grow, not only in the classroom, but throughout their lives.
Fairhill prepares students to meet future challenges. Each student’s unique talents and skills are fostered and encouraged. While the main focus is on academics, emphasis is also placed on sports, the arts and social responsibility. Fairhill offers extracurricular activities that inspire students, building self-esteem, confidence, teamwork and responsibility. Soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, golf, track and field, softball, baseball, bowling, cheerleading, choral music, band, art and drama are among the opportunities offered to students. The National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, International Thespian Society and National Art Honor Society are honorary groups to which qualified students may be elected. Field trips are scheduled in direct correlation with a specific subject area, allowing for enhanced learning experiences beyond the classroom. Fairhill also offers summer programs. For students in grades 1 through 8, offerings include academic reinforcement and enrichment classes, as well as sports and fine arts camps.
