Provide a nurturing environment tending to an individual child’s needs, empowering their aspirations of becoming independent, responsible, and self-motivated learners.
Philosophy
“The word education must not be understood in the sense of teaching but of assisting the psychological development of the child.”
Maria Montessori
Our philosophy is based on key principles established by Dr. Maria Montessori, who believed that children construct their own personalities as they interact with their environment. Here at Aspiring Minds Montessori, we provide every child an environment that enables their cognitive development, making them confident and enthusiastic learners. Our unique prepared environment is where they can develop their social relationships and positive attitudes. Our highly trained staff will ensure each child receives an environment that makes them independent, responsible and self-motivated learners.
Family Medicine of Frisco, the office of Dr. Eduardo Aguirre, is honored to provide holistic, convenient, and compassionate care to family members of all ages. Recently relocated to the Frisco area, we are excited to have the opportunity to serve the healthcare needs of such a diverse and rapidly growing community.
Dr. Eduardo Aguirre began his academic career at the University of Texas at El Paso, from which he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. Afterward, he attended the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Fort Worth from which he received his medical degree with Dean’s List recognition as well as with Honors from Psi Sigma Alpha National Honor Society.
Dr. Aguirre has always had a desire for service to others. This desire was greatly enhanced when, during his medical studies, he was diagnosed with cancer. Undergoing surgery and chemotherapy and experiencing healthcare from a patient’s point of view gave him a distinct appreciation and empathy for the needs of patients. He understands patients’ apprehension towards doctor visits. This is why our goal is to treat patients in a compassionate manner as well as in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
He has been practicing Family Medicine in the North Texas area for more than 15 years. Dr. Aguirre strives to continue his education in an effort to provide quality care to his patients, evidenced by his current graduate studies in Bioethics and Health Policy and a Master’s in Business Administration.
Family Medicine of Frisco strives to provide same day or next day appointments, depending on the acuity of the patient. Patient care hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the clinic is conveniently located in Suite 209 of Pavilion Two at Baylor Scott & White Centennial Medical Center off of Coit Rd. and Highway 121. We are pleased to provide preventive services as well as treatment for acute illnesses and chronic disease management. Most insurances are accepted and in-house laboratory draws and tests are performed as a convenience to our patients. The Doctor and staff speak fluent Spanish.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Aguirre enjoys spending quality time with his beautiful wife and his four children. He enjoys the outdoors, cycling with his family, and growing an organic vegetable garden.
